Works Great – Wireless Voip Headset Review

December 16th, 2011

Here’s a quick review for you. The quality is absolutely great, and the range is incredible. We use Sennheiser products (mics) in our Rock Band and the performance is consistent and high-end quality. I would recommend this product to others.

I find the 130′s much easier to change volume since it is a simple roll of a wheel but the 180′s won’t change volume while lying on my side. The 180′s do take some getting used to if you want to change volume while you’re wearing the headphones. But day to day, incredible range and quality (I live in a townhouse and I can go between floors). It’s much better than my older RS130. And if you don’t want to spend a fortune for 7.1 surround sound, this might be an excellent option. The only downside is they can get a little warm (would not exercise with them on, for instance).

The sound is really great quality, and because they are so lightweight, you can probably wear them for hours without any discomfort. I highly recommend these headphones, especially for couples who don’t have the exact same sleep schedule.

This is where the warm fuzzies of these headphones really paid off. In this casual close-mic setting I felt as if I was actually there & had to resist the urge several times to turn around & “see” the rest of the crowd. If I did this, I could not hear the TV. The Sennheiser RD180 has solved all our problems. Everything is well designed and well-constructed. It all feels very solid.

So I bought these because the RF headset that I normally use was starting to break down physically. I had used it for years with no real problem.

They work fine out on my front porch, though. I’ve used them in all the rooms in my apartment without any issues, including my kitchen which has metal cabinets. I’m impressed by the clarity and ‘crispness’ of the sound and good reproduction of lower frequencies. Comfortable to wear even for an extended time – easy to set up and use Cons: – power button on base station difficult to operate with one hand. The batteries last about the rated 24 hours before requiring a recharge. You do get about a half hour of warning that the batteries are getting close to being discharged. The Sennheiser RS 180 Headsets are one of the best pair of headphones ever owned. The sound qualities of the headphones are outstanding.

My Sennheiser HD201s are actually quite comfortable however these Sonys are better still. I myself will be searching for a different one. wireless headphones for computer. I’ve had these for just two days and I can say they’re very uncomfortable. The bass, the treble, the highs and lows all come through obviously. WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR COMPUTER.

Old School Sony Build Quality – Cordless Stereo Headphones Review

December 10th, 2011

I get perfect reception in 97 percent of my two story house and most of the back yard. They make house work a LOT less boring.

I bought & returned 2 other different brands but none compared to these. Prior to making this purchase, I ordered the RS190s thinking that spending more $ meant a better product.

They just take some getting used to. All things considered, I highly recommend them. Guys if you are ever banished to the Man Cave and still catch hell for the TV or movie being up too loud……worry no more. I realize they are a lot of money (I managed to get mine for under $230) but I think in the long run they are going to be worth every penny.

I purchased these to use with my TV. The sound is good but not as good as my pioneer SE-DHP800 infra-red head phones.

It is easy to use these cans for long periods of time as the ear pieces are comfortable & compliant. I had forgotten just how good (& well produced) these guys were.

They have the advantage of distance over the pioneers. The pioneers have more volume but these are OK.

They have very reasonable range and auto-volume adjusts. NO extraneous noise. The quality of the RS-180 is pretty good. It only squeaks a little on the right side of the headset when I put them on, but after I have got them set, it does not squeak anymore.

Hope this helps I Got this RS-180 around Thanksgiving in November of 2010. I was very lucky to have gotten this at a great price from Amazon (about a hundred dollars less than the $329 it is going for now). To do this, with the base and headset both in the off/standby mode, press and hold the on/off buttons on both units for approximately seven seconds. If you find that only one of your headsets will work at a time, inspect the base and see if the bottom light is flashing more than once or only once. Now that I am able to hear so well again, makes the Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones well worth their cost. I have/had both multiple wired/wireless headphones, so I’ve put together a mental list over time, of what worked, and what hasn’t. If these were stolen, I’d buy them again. The only con could be that, although the ear pads are very cushioned, my ears are a bit larger than the inside of the phone pad. No interference issues with my home wireless (operates on 2.4-2.8 GHz auto selecting). They have excellent bass response that will actually tickle your ears, depending on what you are listening to of course.

The panasonic wireless headphones arrived as described in fantastic condition. In my opinion one reviewer stated they make the wearer look like Princess Leia of Star Wars fame. wireless headphones review. They are great headphones at a fantastic cost and im happy. This is a great sound quality wireless headphones for computer. cool headphones.

For $20 You Cannot Go Wrong – Kids Headphones Review

December 7th, 2011

They are very comfortable; you almost forget you are wearing them. Installation was very simple to do. So imagine my surprise when they arrived working as advertised and even very comfortably fitting my head. All the parts that touch your head are soft and velvety.

Sound: These are the best headphones I’ve ever heard, though all my past headphones were $20 so that isn’t a very helpful is it? Despite not having a trained ear, I’ll try describing the audio as best as possible. I cannot recommend these headphones enough. It has fantastic sound quality, range, looks and style. They also make my head a tad warm, but I honestly think that’s to be expected. Bottom line, I’m able to listen to the TV later at night as loud as I want without disturbing the rest of the family. They are extremely comfortable. The fit is snug on an average size head, and with the over-the-ear style of these, they have no pressure at all on your ears.

The ONLY thing they need is a remote, as the control buttons are too close together making adjustments difficult while on your head. They are very comfortable and can be worn for extended lengths of time. I can live with that when watching TV, and it certainly is “same difference” when consuming audio-only sources. Brief dropouts can occur when my microwave oven is on and I happen to pass within 2′ of it.

The RS120 model used one wheel for on/off and volume control. The RS180′s uses three small flush-mounted buttons for up/down volume with the On/Off button BETWEEN the volume buttons! I haven’t listened to anything that would test the sound quality tremendously, but what I have listened to is fine. It may be a little light on bass effects in movies, but OK for music. The open ear design is great for enjoying great audio in the house without getting closed off from the world. Not easy to set it up with 1 transmitter to multiple headphones, had to just daisy chain the audio cable to a second transmitter.

The Sony MDR-RF925R wireless earphones which I bought from Radio Shack several years ago for $99 have none of these issues and I will probably go back to using them instead of these $199 earphones. Also, the signal seems to interfere with my wireless home network system if I don’t have them placed properly. I called Sennheiser customer service and they said to continue to use them and this would correct itself and if not to get back to them. They were easy to contact and their response was correct.

Very good sound quality for an audiophile ear, but they won’t be your best headphone if you’re an audiophile. They are light, non-fatiguing and immensely enjoyable.

They are ideal for what I wanted. Great sound and strong bass, distinct treble and vocals with these rf wireless headphones. WIRELESS HOME STEREO. Too large for the street. Quality of sound: I’d say overall it’s more crisp, but one thing this is a bit more tangible is bass output. Cordless Stereo Headphones.

Great Headphones To Get A Reduced Cost – Rf Wireless Headphones Review

December 4th, 2011

Both the 180′s and 130′s are open, so this is not explained by some type of closed environment in the 130′s. It is something with the technology of the 180′s that creates a slight delay in sound transmission. Also, you have to turn the base on to listen to stuff. The previous models turned on automatically when there was a signal.

Now that I am able to hear so well again, makes the Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones well worth their cost. I have/had both multiple wired/wireless headphones, so I’ve put together a mental list over time, of what worked, and what hasn’t. It has completely worthless buttons on the side that are too small and flat and unusable while you are wearing. You have to take off the phones to adjust volume, etc.

I haven’t encountered any interference to the headphone system caused by other appliances (wireless telephones and Wi-Fi) in my house. Nor have I encountered any interference to the other appliances caused by the headphone system. But regular pop or rock tunes work just fine, same goes for video games and movies, and that’s good enough for me. Straight forward setup, great sound!

I can feel the volume buttons, but have to work at it. If the buttons were raised above the case and separated, it would help. The sound quality is very good and is very comfortable to wear. Along with other reviewers, the only two negatives that I can see with these headphones is the transmission range and the design of the control buttons. I use these for watching TV when my wife has gone to bed or play my video game when so she can listen to the radio and we don’t compete with each other for sound. I have to say the sound quality is there. I can walk into other rooms on the same floor without drop-off, though if I go upstairs from the base station, I do encounter some occasional zones where reception drops off. I can’t say as how good the reception would be if I went outside to deck or yard — an occurrence unlikely at the moment, since it’s sub-zero outside where I live. Interestingly, when the models 110 and 120 go out of range you get static, but the 180 just cuts off (which is slightly better I think). The range is essentially exactly the same, maybe 70 feet for the models 110 and 120, and 72 feet for the model 180. Thanks to Kleer’s uncompressed audio transmission technology another journey began via listening to some of my favorite Blue-rays like Oliver Stones “The Doors”. The bass sounds are outstanding and precise. The Sennheiser RS 180 is a solid performing unit thus far. It charges simply and easily. The controllers are laid out to make it easy to find the correct knob without having to take the headphones off. There is also an ALC button on the base that amplifies voices — useful when you have the volume turned down low.

Initial charge time is around 16 hours but I couldn’t wait so I used them after 12 hours. Five hours later, I went to bed but the sound was still great.

The build is sturdy, and I made a decision to buy these for an inexpensive birthday gift. The cord is hefty and thick. WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR COMPUTER. For home or personnal use these will deliver. I acquired these headphones some time back again as a Christmas present, and immediately I noticed 3 things that are my only grievances. noise cancelling headphones review.

Fundamental Headphones – Infrared Wireless Headphones Critique

December 3rd, 2011

Thanks to Kleer’s uncompressed audio transmission technology another journey began via listening to some of my favorite Blue-rays like Oliver Stones “The Doors”. The bass sounds are outstanding and precise. The rechargeable batteries last a really long time, and charge very quickly. The base station is stylish, and the charge mechanism is really easy (there are three contact points on the top, and when you rest your headphones on top, it charges them).

I believe another reviewer said that these headphones would make you hate your speakers. And I have fine speakers. Living in a one bedroom apartment, it’s awesome to sleep in peace and quiet, while not forcing boyfriend to keep quiet as a mouse as he stays up late. I’ve owned these cans for a month now, and I can say this headphone is not bad.

The headphones when used, seem to often (can happen many times a day) disrupt the wireless internet connection, and possibly the mouse and the keyboard, but I’m not sure about those. I’ll try more settings soon.

You can listen to quieter things like dialogue without that annoying ever-present hissing though, thank goodness. I guess it all comes down to your source, but plugged into a good receiver they can work very well, especially if you turn them up a step.

Yes, but you get what you pay for. I absolutely love them. The evaluation system consisted of the following: Sony STR-DA5200ES, Sony (Costco) BDP-BX57, and Sony CDP-CX335. The Blu-ray player was connected via HDMI & the 400 Cd Mega-changer was hooked up via analog connects. Convenience factor of a wireless headphone is a huge plus. I am no expert, but here is my guess for the issue. So I bought these because the RF headset that I normally use was starting to break down physically. I had used it for years with no real problem. The phones are adjustable, hold their adjustment, and apply the perfect amount of pressure to create a soft “seal” without cutting off your circulation. It’s an excellent, well-designed, quality product.

This was, no doubt, influenced by the headphone amp of my 5200ES. You would think a $1500.00 dollar receiver could do better, but alas that is a nit that I shall pick another day. With a bit more smarts, the headphones could be made to standby in a low power mode, then ramp up when it detected a signal from the transmitter. Maybe that’s too much to ask for the price.

6 months later – update Takes some pretty fancy technology to really impress me these days, and but these headphones are nothing but perfection. I have used high end corded headphones for a long time, and have always preferred Sennheiser.

The Sony MDR-XD200 is definitely the very best. A good buy. RF WIRELESS HEADPHONES. Buy these, they’re a lot better than my previous headphones. There is a music and film switch that seems to give you a good variety of sound profiles. rf wireless headphones.

Sounds Fantastic – B Headphones Review

December 3rd, 2011

The rechargeable batteries last a really long time, and charge very quickly. The base station is stylish, and the charge mechanism is really easy (there are three contact points on the top, and when you rest your headphones on top, it charges them). While all genres sounded better than I have ever heard on a headphone, I found orchestra music to benefit the most from these. Male sure to check your/source.

I haven’t worn them for more than 90 minutes at a stretch, but they are comfortable for that amount of time (and that’s not the case all the time for me with other headphones). My biggest complaint is that I need to turn the volume up on my source quite loud, so if I forget to adjust it before unplugging, it’s extremely loud unplugged. Now that I am able to hear so well again, makes the Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones well worth their cost. I have/had both multiple wired/wireless headphones, so I’ve put together a mental list over time, of what worked, and what hasn’t. The one minor quibble I have here is that it took me a bit of effort to figure out the pictograms in the setup manual. Mitigating that, Sennheiser includes a CD with the full manual on it and their web site has a downloadable version, too. So, to adjust the volume or balance, I’ve typically needed to remove the headphones to find and work the buttons. That can become a bit annoying after a while. If you are out of range, you get some chopping and then the signal drops off. I prefer this to the hissing I would get using the analog 140. They’re not inexpensive, but they work (for me) really well. I purchased these for my step-father.

I’ve got these headphones around Jan 5, 2011. These are my first pair of over the ear headphones (I’ve used IEMS and ear buds before) and first wireless headphones. I have used a Sennheiser RS-65 wireless headphone since 2002. The RS-65 was a pretty good wireless set.

I called Sennheiser customer service and they said to continue to use them and this would correct itself and if not to get back to them. They were easy to contact and their response was correct.

So, I’m very happy to rate these headphones at an Excellent 5 stars out of 5. It took me a long time to pull the trigger on these headphones, but believe me it was well worth the money.

Dual driver models needed for decent bass. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday (at his request).

My biggest gripe is the range. Advertised 320′, which is quite a long ways.

I use them with my laptop plus they block out a large amount of noise going on around you. They do sound like a more costly set. KIDS HEADPHONES. These headphones are excellent! I purchased mine for $24. Wireless Headphones For Computer.
