Making Hip Hop Beats is the Wave of the Future!

August 3rd, 2011

Most people who enjoy listening to rap and hip hop have at some moment or anotherpictured themselves on stage with the audience chanting their name. They’ve day dreamed about what it would be like to drive the fancy cars, live in the big houses, attend the best parties, and have the world anxiously awaiting their next hit single.

Some will wallow away their lives fantasizing away, while others will do something to make those dreams a reality. Most of the action takers will begin their search via the web, as they don’t refer to it the Information Super Highway for nothing!

Unfortunately many begin to get dispirited with the results they unearth, as the required equipment can be rather costly. Not to mention the fact that a lot more goes into making hip hop beats than most realize. It usually requires vast knowledge of the sampling and recording process.

Since the truth is that most of us are not in a situation to afford a fully functional recording studio, or the money associated with renting one, we have to look at other avenues. Sadly those options often lead us to less than desired products that make promises of fame while delivering nothing of the sort.

There is a shinning star in all of this though. It’s known as Dub Turbo, and it’s the first online DAW, (Digital Audio Workstation). Dub Turbo is basically like having a entire recording studio on your PC and let me just say to you, creating hip hop beats has never been more simple!

Dub Turbo is jam packed with thousands of beats and holds everything a professional studio offers, such as drum kits, keyboard, samplers, sequencers, and so much more! There are also consistent updates and new beats added to keep your beats fresh. Once completed you can easily transfer your music to a CD so you can promote your music and impress your friends.

Making hip hop beats is the wave of the future and Dub Turbo allows you to ride this wave with ease. This program was developed with the complete novice in mind so you can be up and running in under an hour no matter what level you’re starting off at.

Ready to start making music like the pros? The Beat Master highly recommends Dub Turbo! Got what it takes to run with the big dogs? Then check it out here!

When you are just starting off you need to make an investment in a great computer set up. First you will need recording studio software. Recording studio software is nothing more than a program that allows you to mix beats, melodies, chords, samples and loops to make your own customized instrumentals and tracks. They also allow you to record yourself as you sing or rap to your track and to make a copy of your tracks to cd. You don’t need a real studio anymore to make hit songs, just a great computer and a powerful microphone.

When it comes to the software part, you can find recording software all over the internet. Just do a search for “make your own beats” or “recording studio software”. As you search, you will notice that on average, this type of software will run you between $50 and $200. Don’t Buy Them! You will also need sounds and loops, try searching for “loops” and see what you can find. Alright, so at the minimum, $140 gets you the low-end recording studio software, 200 sound sets, and 300 loop sets… If you want a little better quality studio software and more sound sets and loop sets, you can spend about $500 for high-end studio software, 600 sound sets, and 900 loop sets. That’s everything you need to make your own beats, instrumentals, samples, loops, tracks, and complete demo cd’s. Remember, do you want to be using low quality sounds and make low quality music, or do you want to use the best sounds possible and make crystal clear tracks?

From Motown To Hip Hop – Produce Music And Make Beats

September 14th, 2009

The early sixties in the City of Detroit were a memorable era for music. It was a period of time whereby the unique sounding records of Motown have been played and listened to throughout the streets, nightclubs, house parties and radio stations anywhere in the country. It was common to have the soulful R and B records playing on the jukeboxes while folks were dancing in the streets or singing in the barber shops and beauty parlors to the love songs that eventually captivated the hearts of millions of people throughout the world. Music cds and rap music were not heard of during that period, it was all about the vinyl records and rhythm and blues soul.

The songs that have been designed by Motown singers during the 60s & 70s had so much meaning and expression. They were songs that spoke about true unchained love, breaking events and the heartache and pains of life experiences. Oh yes, Motown really had it going on! Their music became universal music. Many of the soulful tunes crossed over into other markets such as pop, jazz, blues, etc But just like George Benson said in one of his recordings Everything Must Change, and sure enough, he was right about the music.

After providing so many years service and great music to the City of Detroit, Motown left and Rap/Hip Hop moved in. Instead of listening to someone singing My Baby Loves Me or My Girl, you began to hear new sounding lyrics of street experience expressed in rhythms with the mouth, chest, hands and feet as such had never been heard before.

This new sound called Rap evolved in the early 80s and took off as a sky rocket in the late 90s and New Millennium as Hip Hop/Rap. Even today Rap/Hip Hop music is still a multi billion dollar genre. Millions of cds and videos are sold each year in the Hip Hop genre of music. And there is no sign that Hip Hop will be slowing down or taking a back seat to anyone anytime soon.

So what happened to the Motown sound. did it die out? No! The Motown sound will never die out. It will always play a significant part in the hearts of millions who embraced its sound back in the early 60s, and continued to pass that sound on to their children throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Sometimes you just have to move over and let the new kids on the block have a turn in expressing their musical talents, songs and ideas. That is what Motown did, it moved over-not out. And now the Hip Hop artists are not the new kids on the block anymore, for they have taken their position to express themselves musically, just like the rhythm and blues artists took their position o express themselves in the Motown era.

That is how we have developed from Motown to Hip Hop music! You are now in the position to produce your own Hip Hop tunes and songs yourself with the world’s best music production machine called SonicProducer. You may make thousands of beats and you don’t even need to be a professional musician or have any experience. It has been made super user friendly to make your own beats and you won’t believe the quality of the sounds they packed it with.

SonicProducer is an incredible up to date music sequencer with mp3 export capability. SonicProducer also features music production tutorials with different keyboards, studios as well as tutorials and videos on how to use the Sonic Producer software. All this can be obtained online through the “members area” and encompasses everything including the software, sounds and the system of video lessons and documentation.
